Melbourne 2004: Henin-Clijsters Rivalry


Simon and Devang revisit the Women’s 2004 Australian Open final and one of the more underrated rivalries in tennis. Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin-Hardenne were the top players in the women’s game and happened to hail from the same small nation: Belgium. Combined, they would win 11 Grand Slams. On this January day in Melbourne, they battled for hardcourt supremacy.
